Crust at Dyer Beggars was like cured concrete. Not edible, we scraped the toppings off of our large pizza and drank our four $2.40 Pepsi's and left for a scheduled meeting. We did NOT have a half hour to wait for another pizza, which was not offered anyway. When the waitress brought it to the kitchen she came out and said we could use another $3.00 coupon on it. Big deal. We forked out $40.00 for the pizza and pepsi and a manager never came out to apologize. The other three people had a sausage/cheese that was not bad. Wondering how this could have happened...doesn't the kitchen use a timer for when a pizza is "done" before it is burned?? Our group decided the best way to thank you for this is never darken the door of another Beggars Pizza joint.

Beggars is my favorite. They pile it on thick with the tastiest cheese I've ever had on a pizza. I use to live close to this location and would order a couple times a month. The crust is delicious. You can eat in or have it delivered. Excellent!

Beggars Pizza is the best!!!! It always tastes great and its always hot and fresh. Beggars Pizza is a southside favorite.

I am now in another state and I must say I miss this pizza is awesome. They load the pizza with great toppings and the sauce is good. Prices are decent and locations are good i wish there were more in other states. will go back when i get to the Chi area

Beggars pizza at any location is an awesome treat but this location keeps you begging for more. The pizza is a mouth watering masterpiece and the service is top-notch.
