The Rim of the World Unified School District operates various elementary, intermediate and high schools for students in kindergarten through grade 12. The district s schools provide education in various subjects, including reading, creative writing, math, health and physical education, English, science, social studies, foreign language, and family and consumer science. The schools offer various sporting activities, such as volleyball, basketball, wrestling, baseball, football, cheerleading, cross-country, and track and field. The district offers library services that include integrated information and technology instruction, library automation, collection development and reading incentive programs. Its high school has a guidance counseling department that provides college placement and career planning services. The Rim of the World Unified School District serves more than 5,100 students.
