Foliage Garden, located in the heart of New York City's wholesale florist market, is the oldest established plant store on 28th Street, providing a variety of plants that include proven performers. We place emphasis on "shelf life" for maximum customer satisfaction. Jonathan E. Finegan opened Foliage Garden in 1981, after years of working in various areas of the plant industry in preparation for owning his own store. He began in a small shopand moved to larger quarters as the business grew. Jon saw a need for a greater variety of quality material and fulfilled a life-long dream by purchasing greenhouses in Long Island in 1994. In five short years, the nursery has grown to include 20 completely refurbished houses growing a wide array of materials to meet today's needs. This enables our Manhattan shop to receive fresh shipments daily and to supply a savy New York market on demand. We have a large staff of friendly, knowledgeable people ready to assist you in any way they can. Our clientele includes retail flower shops, party decorators, event planner, interior designers, restaurants, hotels, magazines corporate and private customers.
