I wish I could give less than a star for this rip off company. I had a water heater go bad and they provided and installed a new one through a warranty company. Told my wife that there was multiple modifications needed to make the new water heater work that wasn't covered under our warranty. I had her take pictures of the old system before they arrived. When I got home and looked, I noticed that they used all the old copper pipes and the ONLY difference was a 2" flexible water line extension and two small line clamps that couldn't cost more than $5 total. My cost was $350 for modifications and less than hour of labor to install. Lets not forget that they also charged the warranty company the "install fee". Price gouging is an understatement!!!! Their service guys are rude and took of advantage of the fact that my wife didn't know anything about what they were saying. If you use them, be prepared to bend over because they will stick it to you.

Would not recommend these guys to enter your home. We were working with a home warranty and their techs fabricated information on the report so that they didn't have to do the work,but we're still paid the service fee. We waited a week for them to come out without hot water and they totally screwed us.

Got totally gouged. We had them because they were referred by our home warranty company. Charged us $100 for an upgrade we didn't ask for. When I called they said it was a $200 disposal. I looked it up and you can buy them for $85 at Home Depot. Beware!

I would recommend B&L Plumbing to all my Family and Friends. Technician treated me with respect and was VERY professional!

When I have another plumbing issue, will be calling B&L Plumbing!!

Also their office Lady was polite & caring!



I'm adding on my review. I've used B&L multiple times. When I have a plumbing problem I can not fix I call them. Very happy. Just had our sump pump replaced & floor drain cleaned.

Wow...This company is a total joke. Guy came out after being called by my warranty company to diagnose a broken line and said he couldn't even open my cap on my clean out cause it was above knee level. come on... Can't wait for the real professionals to come out today and actually fix it. I do not recommend this company to anyone

Price gouge is the main problem with them. They said they had a slot available that same day so I booked it for my tenant. They called the tenant and pushed it to 2 days later. They quoted on phone charge a minimum of $125.00 per service call, of which is applied to whatever we do while we are there. When the plumber called me from the rental house he quoted a much higher amount. I thought it was applied to the 125. Boy was I wrong. I had no choice but to authorize it or he would have left without fixing and I still would have paid the service fee. He also tried to tell me other items in the house needed to be fixed but the tenant has never reported the stopped up toilet like he claimed needed to be snaked. Then he attempted to charge me for diagnosing something that I didn't ask for. According to all the reviews which I believe are real, this company overcharges for simple things and they try to sell you for services you don't need. Also if you look to see how many reviews those people who are giving 5 stars have written, they have only written one review which tells you something. I write reviews on Yelp and Angie's List for all kinds of services I like and dislike. Don't believe reviewers who only write one review.

I had sewage backed up in my basement and my home warranty sent me to B & L Plumming. They had someone out the same day and fixed my problem quickly and the guy was very polite, and made sure that he cleaned his mess and explained what casued the back up before they left. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family!!

B and L Plumbing installed a new water heater and fixed a leak in my upstairs bathroom. They did a great job. They were professional, fair and reasonable. They cleaned up after the job. I will use them again.



B and L Plumbing has been out to my house 4 times now. They are fast, fair and professional. My home is about 20 years old and I have had to replace faucets and other leaks. It is nice to work with a plumbing company that is going to be honest and give me a fair price and excellent work.

The technician came out and fixed our faucet and then gave me some honest feedback on how I could easily fix a leaking toilet valve. He gave up some current revenue, but I will be calling B & L Plumbing next time I need service for sure. I will also refer them to any friends or family in need of service.

After an excruciating experience with another plumbing company, my home warranty company redirected my service call to B&L Plumbing. The plumber who came out, Justin Thompson, was professional, courteous, on time, and skillful. This guy got it all done, and the whole experience was very very positive. Dispatcher "Mary" is also quite delightful.



I'd recommend this plumbing company 100%.

B&L recently came to my home and installed a new water line to a new sink in my basement. Over the years, they have installed 3 new more efficient toilets for me, replaced my hot water dispenser, installed a thermal expansion tank on my hot water heater, replaced/repaired control valve on water heater and various other projects that I requested. I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and being a company that does what they say they are going to do.

Do not use this company. I had clogged pipes and had someone from B&L plumbing come to my house. They used a snake and unclogged only a little part of the problem spot. The very next day I had the same plumbing problem. For over 3 days I could not use my bathroom of B&L. They were also suppose to look at my water heater and totally misdiagnosed the problem. I actually had to pay another plumber to come out and find a gas leak. I HAD A GAS LEAK and B&L did not take the time to properly diagnose the problem. I am never using this company again and advise other people to stay away from this company. Don't waste your money on this company because the problem will not solved.

Great Job!!!!

I recently moved into my first home, and experienced one of the down falls...no maintence man. My realtor suggested B&L Plumbing. My experience was great from my first experience with the office to the plumber leaving my home. They were able to fit me in that day and I greatly appreciated that they call before they come. The plumber was very friendly and didn't make me feel stupid when asking him ALL of my many questions, (grateful they don't charge by the question...LOL). Thank you B&L Plumbing for making my first experience calling a plumber a great one!!!!!

Terrible.....Next time I want a company with different business ethics

I'm unable to go into details as the problem is still lingering, but our complaints are serious and I want others to be very, very careful and not run into the same costly issues. The plumbers who came and re-fixed the original problem were United Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, and they were the 2010 winners of the Ethics in Business award in Kansas City--I highly recommend them. We should have used them to begin with, but this is what trying to save a buck got us. Normally, I'm a big believer that you get what you pay for, but we most certainly did not get what we paid for. Lots of finger pointing about the error being with the home inspection company or the warrenty company, but when our living room floods after 60 showers in the upstairs bathroom....well, you get the picture.
