The Boal Estate has been the Boal home for over 200 years through eight generations and and tells the story of America as experienced by one family. the home contains original furnishings, artworks, and artifacts belonging to family members. The 1-1/2 hour tour consists of The Boal Mansion and the Columbus Chapel (a centuries-old chapel of the Columbus family imported from Spain in 1909). Visitors are also encouraged to walk about the grounds, which include an active barn theatre company. Drop-in tours are possible from May 1 to October 31, six days a week (closed on Mondays, except open on Memorial Day Monday).
