This is literally the worst market I have ever shopped at. From the first time we went there we had a terrible experience. We just moved into town and literally had no food essentials to eat. Sure we were checking out close to closing time, but the girl was a complete jerk. She banged our food around in the bags and when we asked her about an event where we were unsure of the location she acted very snotty and said she had no idea what that was or what we were talking about. Today I go in to buy a couple items to make a cake and saw super cheap cheese. Their prices are so high that when I see $1.99 cheese I wonder why. The sell buy/best buy date was 13 days ago! I said, "Wow," to myself and then told the guy at the front. After I said it was the sale one he acted rude and said, "Yeah, that is why it is a sticker item. It is out of date." Who wants to pay $1.99 for old cheese?? I get home and want to talk to the manager since I didn't think my first experience was the worst ever, but now I'm tired of being treated rudely and made to feel like an idiot in front of other customers. Apparently the manager was the man that was rude and he "apologized" for being so mean and I told him I don't think it was appropriate for the outdated cheese to still be there and he pretty much told me that people actually come in and ask for it (sale items) and that he would try and make a banner to make it more clear.



Not only are the prices high for the lack of quality, but the service is awful. I will not go there anymore, even if I need the littlest thing. I would rather support Walmart or some huge monster corporation than the monster at Select. Thanks, but no thanks. -10 from me too.
