Like so many psychologists in the area, Fichera's approach is "paint by the numbers." Misuse of paper-and-pencil tests, for which you pay extra, lend the appearance of legitimacy but ultimately have no therapeutic value.



No goals are established, so therapy continues indefinitely as long as you keep showing up and paying. When a client eventually gives up in frustration, Fichera takes no accountability and makes no attempt to follow up. One is left with the impression that he places his needs over those of his clients.
