I have been donating here for about 2 months now and they have always been nice, every person I've spoken to, checked in with, met with and donated with (phlebotomist) has been very nice and professional. The facility is spotless everytime I have walked through their door, including the restrooms. They offer lots of incentives too. Contests, sports pride bonuses, contests, etc. All phlebotomists are very skilled and have never hurt me or stuck me more than once. After the initial registration appt, which takes 4 hours, the subsequent donations take 90 mins or maybe a little less. My only complaint is that this place is FREEZING!!! I advise you to wear long sleeves, long pants, sweater, and bring a blanket...unless you grew up in ANTARCTICA or acclimated in ICELAND...you'll likely be cold. I highly recommend Biotest in Melbourne Florida on Lake Washington.

They seem to try hard, but what should take 45 minutes takes nearly three hours. I'm a regular donor with them and it's gotten to the point where they are so slow that I need to bracket 1/2 a day for the process. Payments are slow too, they say 5 minutes to an hour for payment to show up, but it's more like a full day. IMO they are really taking advantage of the poor by promising things that they can't deliver on. Basically it looks like a good center, but is just as scummy as the rest.
