DID A VERY DIRTY JOB. Phil seemed professional when he did the estimate. Wiped his feet over and over before entering. Unfortunately the two men he sent over to do the job were slobs. My father offered them tarps to protect the light beige carpeting. They declined his offer saying they didn't need them.

They scratched up the roll down shutters when they uncarefully jostling them. The shutter rails were leaned up agains walls and sliding glass doors. The dirty shutters on the uncovered carpeted floor.

Needless to say, the carpet is black,. Dirt and dirty handprints everywhere they touched. Wall, floor, shutters, table. They did not bring a rag, broom or vacuum. I objected to the mess they were leaving behind. So they asked me for a rag, borrowed my expensive vacuum and began wiping in and grinding in the black dirt from the screens into the carpet. After they left I was putting away the vacuum they borrowed and saw they cut the vacuums electrical cord in two places.

I called Phil during the installation when I noticed a shutter they had removed to install the new screen, was now no longer level. Phil said I was calling him while he was on a hot roof and became very hostile, so I said I would discuss the matter with the men on my job site.

The carpet needs to be cleaned, the wall painted, the electrical cord repaired and I don't know what to do about the scratches to the roll down shutter, it now being crooked, no longer roll as nicely as they did before Phil's crew.

Phil, please have the carpet professionally cleaned, the cord repaired, the wall painted and I'll don't know what you can do about the scratched up shutters, the crocked installation, they bent valance. I'm also uncomfortable with finding screws on the ground. I asked where did they need to go and was told they don't pick them up when they drop and just take different screws from his bag.

P.S. They were nearly two hours late to arrive. Without the courtesy of a phone call. Nor did they explain or appologize for their delay.

Can't believe the difference ia few years makes in a company. Phil's Screens will need to resolve the dirty job to regain my respect.
