Went there last night because I hadn't heard of this place, and I know most places in deerfield/boca/delray. Decided to meet a friend there, where the place was small and clean and looked like a very cute typical sushi place. We got there pretty late for a monday night and there were only a couple people there. However, the sushi was THE BEST I've had in a VERY long time. It was fresh and good portioned, presented specialty rolls creatively, which looked amazing. The fish didn't taste like some other places, where the fish can taste a bit fishy/bloody which is gross. We shared a tuna tartar, which was on point. I ordered a rainbow and spicy tuna roll, which were again, excellent. At the end of our meal, the sushi chef and owner Joe came over and brought us a small piece of mochi for us to share. He asked about our meal and then told us a bit about himself. It so happens, he's had MANY years of experience and worked at NOBU for years (if you know good sushi, then you'll know NOBU is on another level) as well as many finer sushi places around the country. He also told us he as a special freezer, which freezes the fish after being butchered to -30Celsius. He explained the importance of it to kill bacteria and better the quality. Awesome place and food, defintely must try.

THIS IS THE BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! And it will be the best sushi you will have ever had too! And i've tried a lot of sushi spots in Florida...



I was weary about leaving this review because I want this to stay my own secret amazing sushi spot, but since it's a new restaurant I want to tell everyone about it so it can stay open!



Go to this place if you like sushi! Joe will serve you the freshest fish you could ever eat. Guaranteed.
