First few prints he varnished were great, although the mat board wasn't cut straight and too narrow for a frame( I specifically asked for certain dimensions). I then brought in three more photos to varnish. I received a phone call three days later that he ruined one of the photographs, so I had to bring him a new print. Then I noticed all of them had fibers,dirt and shmutz under the varnished coat, he spent an hour trying to remove the debris and we decided that they needed another coat. He was apologetic and embarrassed and promised me he was going to solve the problem. Of course he would not have said anything if i didn't bring it up

I gave him an additional two prints. And then, I had to reprint ANOTHER photograph to because there were too much debris to fix. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. SHame on me!

When I went back two weeks later and his attitude had changed. He said he will never put three coats on and that it wasn't his fault.He then would not discount the other f@@k ups he did. I paid him cause I needed the pieces for a show and had no time to find someone else. I told him I was not coming back. Shame on me for giving him a chance!
