Established in late 1981, Vander Ploeg & Associates, Inc. has designed over 300 retail centers, over 7 million sq. ft. of office buildings, and numerous other specialty buildings such as golf course clubhouses, banks, adaptive re-use of existing buildings, the Mission Bay Aquatic Training Center (training center for the 1988 U.S. Olympic and Pan American swimming and diving teams), the Mizner Park and Amphitheatre as well as corporate headquarter buildings, condominiums and hotels.
