I was never counseled by this individual but asking just a simple question and getting blown off isn't very professional at all

I knew I was struggling, but hey, I could do it by myself. After all, I'd always been able to help myself without help from anybody!
I first met with Kathleen Gleason LPC at my friend's insistence. Ms. Gleason welcomed me with that energetic smile and listened empatheically as we began talking, Before long, I forgot I was actually talking to a therapist!
IDuring our counseling relationship, I had an epiphany.. For the first time in my life, I felt equipped with some new knowledge and skills that have helped me both personally, ias well as professionally,. Most of all, I gained an awareness and understanding of myself with increased confidnece. I highly recommend licensed therapist, Kathleen Gleason LPC, NCC, DCFC, whose strength, wisdom and professionalism helped guide me towards the success I've enjoyed for the past 12 years as a highly motivated business partner in one of the renowned Fortune 500 companies.

I have attended counseling before at times when I have felt stuck and it has really always been a positive and helpful experience. It was not this way with Kathleen Gleason. Fact: I saw her for 2 months, or less if you count the times I actually saw her. Fact: she cancelled 2 appts SAME DAY and was 30 min late to the appt. in between. When she finally got back to me about a new appt. date, I let her know I would not be returning. She said said I hope you change you mind, but if not return the book you borrowed. A couple weeks later she sent me another text message about the book (value: $10, by her own assessment). In her sessions, she charges $135 for what amounts, esentially, to a 45 min class room lesson on communication. I have had counseling where I had realizations through discussion and I have felt major shifts. This is not that. I would have received more for less had I signed up for a class at the community college. Obviously I had to find another counselor, and good news, is I am very happy with where I am now.
