customer service issues, communication issues, they do pretty good work however business skills need lots of work, very combative attitude when you have an issue, also reading the other negative post below is about right. My experience with them was to get your money and get out.

Purchased my pool in April and had it installed by May so thankful I had it in time for the heat this past summer. Dunrite Pools helped me with everything and gave me plenty of options for the liners and shape of my in-ground pool. I went in with my budget and the idea that I wanted a pool and they helped me with the rest. They never tried to up-sell me on anything that I wouldn't need. They are a class act at Dunrite Pools - no wonder they have been around for so long and I'm sure they will continue with great success. Honest. Friendly. Helpful.

Just got married in November and bought a new house with my husband in Smithtown! As we have been making plans for the renovations of the house we have been regularly stopping into Dunrite Pools to look into getting a pool installed in the Spring. We are happy to say we have finally purchased a 18x36 inground pool with a spillover spa! I'm in heaven :) I already started getting some pool floats. I can't wait for the Spring so I can jump on in!!! Thank you so much to Dunrite Pools and their magnificent staff for guiding us along and figuring out the best fit for my husband and I am hopefully our new family to come. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!

Overall an excellent experience with Dunrite Pools for 5 years and counting!! Purchased my in ground pool from Dunrite about 5 years ago had a great flawless installation and experience with the purchase and staff. Went back at the end of the summer purchased my Loop-Loc cover from them and also had Dunrite Pools close it. I've had them come back every year and open and close it since. They do an amazing job and my wife and I never have to worry about a thing. Just this past week I brought in my Aquabot Pool vacuum which had not been working toward the end of the year and they serviced my machine so once the weather gets nice it will be working 100% again. I am so satisfied and cannot say enough about the Dunrite Pools Team and all the help I have received from them over the years. I recommend your services to all my family and friends and wish you much luck for the coming year see you in May for our pool opening!

Love Love Love Dunrite Pools! I am a frequent customer over the summer for various items that I need for my above ground pool but I went in a few weeks back to get some chemicals and test strips for my hot tub and I walked out with so much more. Not only did they have exactly what I needed for my hot tub but there Christmas Store was amazing with a great selection of ornaments and other little nick knacks. I will definitely be making a trip back next year to get more :) Thanks Dunrite Pools you are the best!!!!!!!

Amazing Work! My wife and I had our pool installed and closed this year by Dunrite. We were more than impressed by both the installation and the closing process, it was fast and on time. Being new homeowners we have run into many bumps along the way but our in-ground pool gave us not one headache. We are so appreciate of the Dunrite team for their hard-work and will continue to use their services and recommend it to all our friends. Job well done!

Dunrite Pools and their friendly staff have outperformed themselves again. This company really has helped year after year and made our pool experience effortless. The Dunrite Pools superstore in Bohemia has everything we need for our maintenance and service needs and what a great team and support staff. We had our in ground pool installed 8 years ago and year after year they have opened and closed our pool and provided seasonal support and reliable service. I HIGHLY recommend Dunrite Pools to anyone on Long Island that is looking for a reliable installation service and pool maintenance company. They are a 5 Star organization with a 5 Star Team! Stay away!!!!! Dunrite done wrong!!!!! I have had nothing but problems since the 3rd year I put in pool. Customer service stinks! They got their money and they don't care. I was told by my pool guy that they put the liner in wrong. He showed me all of the patches they used to hide their mistakes when they installed. Yo can't see them unless pointed out. Well, after only 6 years, I have to replace the darn liner. They never put padding under the liner and retention bars have been installed wrong. Hope it doesn't colapse!!!! Was forced to give at least one star to post but would give Zero

no stars but this would not print until I gave a star so I put one but I do not mean it. I have been working with Dunrite Pools for a good ten years. I have been the ideal customer updating every couple years, putting in new systems. I just had them open my pool. When I took off the cover to prepare for them, I found that they had left the electric cover closed (it was new from the season before). It was filled with water almost to the bottom of the pool. When I ask them kindly to check the cover for long term damage, not only did they refuse, they accused me of closing the electric cover after they closed the pool. I was in a state of shock. I have invested a great deal of money with this company for an extended period. Unreal treatment. very sad . Attempting to speak them in person, they said it will be your word against ours. Again I was shocked and dismayed. I did not expess anger to them, I was well spoken and only ask for the cover to be checked and for them to accept responsibility. I am concerned when companies blame their customers for their mistakes. Please be careful if you use them and do not assume that things have been done correctly.

Dunrite did an awesome installation in 2002 however their service has declined. The service dept stinks, the service employees that answer the phone are rude, argumentative and unwilling to listen. They do not car to retain customers long term.
