Provided by YP.comTender Years is home away from home for our little princess. The funny thing is ,that is how they treat her like the princess she feels she is.I love that they let her be her, and embrace her tutu, rain boot wearing self.
Sadly we didn't start attending Tender Years until she was 2 1/2. She was in a small in home day care prior to Tender Years. We decided to change her since we felt she needed more structure and more learning. We were also concerned that she was not talking much, due to duel languages, within two weeks of attending this center she was talking so much more we were amazed. Before we decided Tender Years was the one I had reasearched a few other centers, a few near home and beleive it or not one a minute away from my job. Tender years a few minutes further I actually have to pass my office to go to the center. So I had narrowed down to the one a minute away from work or the one a few miles away. I had seen a flyer with the rates and pictures of the center. I was amazed of how beautiful the placed look and even more amazed of how reasonable the rates were. I still said to skeptical self...hmm lets check this out because you know you get what you pay for and I need to see for myself if this place really looks like this, lol. So I called and made an appointment. As soon as we got there Marianne, the director greated us and showed us what would be her classroom. Our little miss took a seat and sat with the teacher and 2 other students. We asked if she would want to come with us to see the rest of the place she shocked her head no. So we went on our tour with out her. The place look just as nice and clean as the pictures in the flyer. We sat with Marianne, she gave us a calendar of the school year, showed us samples of their yearly work. Myself and my husband looked at eachother and we knew it was the place for our princess, and our pricess loved it too she didnt want to leave. We called the next day telling her to please expect her the following week as a new student! She adjusted well and although we lost the duel languages she is doing great. I can also say that we/I have shown up at different times of day unannounced and I am always please with what I see. I love to see lunch, nap and outdoor time.
As for the staff, Great all of them...Marianne the Director is wonderful, she is so good to us. She sends pictures via txt as well as videos. I can txt her once or twice a day everyday and she will respond as soon as she can! I feel at ease know that my lttle girl is being well taken cared of and is learning and having fun. Her teacher is Ms. Marissa, I want to take her home and learn from her. She is so patient with and the kids but at the same time very stern all the kids listen to her. Its like she has a spell on them lol. As you can see I can go on and on at the end all I can say is that we are extremely happy with our choice and it turly feels like family. Not just with the staff but with some of the other parents you get to know them too. It has been and continues to be a wonderful experience for our family. If you are looking into a center for your little one I strongly recommend you take a tour.

Provided by YP.comI interviewed MANY daycares in my search for a new one and I just never had a great feeling about any of them. Scared that I'd be forced to settle, I did another search online and Tender Years came up. Surprised that I hadn't come across it before, I checked where it was just to find it was very close to my job. My husband and I scheduled a meeting and I'm so glad we did. We were so comfortable with Marianne right off the bat, we went home that afternoon and I told my husband we're signing our daughter up! We've been there since June 2012 and we're so grateful for the love and attention our daughter gets. She loves going there and that means a lot. I would highly recommend TYD to anyone looking for childcare. The rates are reasonable and worth it and the center is the cleanest I've seen! Love them!

Provided by YP.comKnowing that 3 months after having my son i had to go back to work i was stressed & upset. Being a 1st time mom, I was overwhelmed by the thought of having to go back so soon & missing out on my sons day's, I didnt know if sending him to daycare was going to be something that worked for me. Tender Years was one of my 10 daycare's i interviewed when i was 4 months pregnant. The first phone call I made to Marianne i felt very comfortable with her & had a feeling this would be the one. Once i stepped into her facility, i was presented with a warm, clean, organized & calm enviroment. She answered all my questions (and i had ALOT, ha ha) & made me feel comfortable with leaving my child their. They are moms not just teachers. I chose this daycare in April 2012 & I started in Sept 2012. Since starting, I recieve text's, videos and pictures of my little guy during the day while I am at work, which makes me smile. I look foward to the daily report i get each day. My son smiles at Marianne, Karen & all the kids each morning when i arrive. He is happy when I pick him up so i know he has a good day. I am a scheulded & technical person (to put it nicely, ha) & i have never had a request that wasnt met. They always go with my scheudle. They really pay attention to my son, and alert me if they feel he is cranky or not feeling well. He is in very good hands and has become part of the tender years family. Havig him be around other people besides me & husband & him around other children has made him a very social & easy going baby. I attribute that to his days at daycare. If anyone is in the same situation as me & searching for a good provider for your children, please stop in & see Tender Years. It will be the best decision you make. It will make going to work an easier transition.

Provided by YP.comWhen I was thinking about having another child I knew that I was going to have to put my baby in daycare at 2 months. I used another daycare for my first son but I could use it again, she was not at all close to my job or house or my first sons school so I was going to have to start all over again, plus she had no room. I started when I was 8 month pregnant and I was pretty much obsessed with finding a daycare that I was comfortable with before I gave birth. I saw about 5 day cares. One was dark and had really nothing for the kids to do inside at all and there was a TV on. Another was OK but didn't have availability. Another was brand new but they wanted more money per day if I was part time and all 14 kids of all ages were in the same room no separation for cribs at all. I was getting pretty upset as pregnant women do. I met Marianne at Tender Years and I said this is it. Her day care is clean even in the hall ways between the rooms. Its big but not too big. The babies are in one room the walkers in another and the preschoolers have their own classroom. She has another big room as a gym. There is a big outdoor play ground and well. All of the women that work there are moms they are professional and genuinely love and get a big kick out of all the kids. This is a place I can recommend this is a place that makes it OK to go to work even though u might really hate to go back to work and the sadness is consuming it's just a big big weight off ur shoulders to know ur child is well taken care of and that's what I have at Tender Years.

Provided by YP.comI've been sending my children to Tender Years since September 2012. They were going to another school but when they closed, I was forced to find another place. Looking back, I'm glad I searched for Tender Years. My kids are so happy and I know they are being taken care of, when my husband and I are at work. They adjusted very nicely and I believe it's in part because of the great staff and the kid friendly and inviting atmosphere. When I come home each day, my children tell me all about their day at Tender Years and about their friends. I like the fact that the classes are small, so I know my children are not overlooked. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is considering day care or preschool.

Provided by YP.comI did so much research when I was looking for a daycare for my son. I was impressed with Tender Years when I visited and spoke to the director Marianne, so I enrolled my son. They have exceeded our expectations. My son is well taken care of and his teachers are fantastic. Marianne is very involved and her door is always open for any concerns. We are so happy with this center!

Provided by YP.comMarianne and staff do a wonderful job of educating and caring for my child throughout the day. The facility is spotless and equipment is always in immaculate shape. Tender Years Daycare has been accommodating and flexible with my hectic work schedule. They have always helped to meet mine and my child's needs. Most of all, my son looks forward to each and every day there. I highly recommend this daycare/preschool for any age!

Provided by YP.comI have been taking my son here for about 6 months and we love it. Marianne (owner) is very nice and involved. She tells you the truth, which I like. When I was first looking into daycare I emailed her to ask about pricing and availability, she emailed me back very quickly (other places said they wouldn't even give me a quote unless I came in for an appointment). When I did come in, I liked it immediately. All the staff know me and my son and make me feel like my son is number one (isn't he)! It feels like a family :-)
They helped me figure out my son's feeding schedule because I was nursing at home and they also continue to help me with my son's changing needs. They also give me a report on a daily basis about what he's done during the day.
I would (and have) recommended The Tender Years Daycare to anyone! It's definitely worth checking out.

Provided by YP.comI had a horrible experience with our previous daycare and was very nervous about trying a new place. We have been at Tender Years for four months now and everyone has been wonderful. The owner is very hands on and always knows what is going on with the children and staff. It is nice to actually see an owner that is passionate about her business. The staff is very helpful! They were instrumental in getting our daughter weaned off her pacifier and switching from heated milk to cold milk. We love all the art projects that our 14 month old brings home. She loves going to Tender Years to play with all her friends. Honestly, it feels like a big family.

Provided by YP.comWhen I had my daughter last May I knew it was only a matter of time before I needed to head back to work. Everyone kept asking me if I had looked for a daycare but it was the one thing I put off until the last minute. Tender Years Daycare was the first daycare I looked at and I knew it was the only one I needed to look at. Marianne, the owner, made me feel confident and comfortable about leaving my daugther there. I felt at ease that my daughter would be treated as if she was one of their own. It's been 8 months since my daughter started there and I am so proud of all the things she comes home knowing. I feel that her social skills have developed tremendously and she has made friends. Her verbal skills have increased and she comes home knowing more words all the time. Her teachers Ms. Maryanne and Ms. Jamie keep us so informed of everything throughout the day and they will answer any questions that come up. I also love the open door policy because my mother and husband work across the street from the daycare and stop in whenever they want to without a problem. As much as I don't like leaving my daughter I'm so happy that she is has a smile on her face everyday when I pick her up. I'm glad we chose Tender Years.

Provided by YP.comI was so distraught when I first began my search for daycares while I was on my maternity leave. My biggest fear was that I would miss all of the new things my daughter would be doing for the first time, that I wouldn’t get to see her at all, and that she would be spending her day in a germ infested chaotic facility with people who don’t care about her and only care about the paycheck they’re earning at the end of each week. After reading reviews after reviews after reviews, I finally came across Tender Years. Fairly new so not too many reviews, but the website was the first thing that caught my eye. I decided to visit the facility unannounced, that way they weren’t able to “prep” for me. From the moment that I walked in and met with the owner (it is family owned and not one of those big crazy franchises) she won my heart. 2 months later and I have one thing to say, it was THE BEST CHOICE I’VE EVER MADE!! The owner is directly involved with the children and the staff is amazing with my daughter...some of their own kids attend the daycare, some of the teachers are going to school for childhood education, all are CPR certified etc. The facility is so clean and it’s a small ratio 1:4, so there isn’t a moment that my daughter is left unattended, in soiled diapers or starving. I get a schedule at the end of every day for everything that my daughter did, from bottle to bowel movements to playing in her exersaucer. They even gave me the option to bring in my own toys for my daughter so she wouldn’t have to use the “community” ones if I was uncomfortable with it. The owner takes pictures and videos of my daughter for me so I don’t miss a thing :) That being said, my FAVORITE thing about Tender Years is that I am able to visit my daughter whenever I please (every day), I don’t need to call ahead or make any type of appointment to go see her. Each of the staff members put their hearts into caring for these kids and it shows every day when my daughters face lights up when she sees them..and any parent knows just how much that means. I can’t recommend them enough!

Provided by YPmobileI am a current employee and tender years daycare and i must say that it is the most loving warm hearted place I have ever worked at. The director treats all her employees as if we were her own children and is there for us through anything. The parent are what make this facility the greatest because of the open hearts and loving children. I would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a day care. The rates are affordable and the environment is beyond lovable.

Provided by YP.comIt's clean, the workers are experienced & the owner is involved with the kids & infants as well. Daycare itself is pricey but its nice knowing that tender years is a great place and lowest on the map! My daughter started there at six weeks & now is three months, I don't have anything negative to say. I was even more excited when I found out they have a credit card machine, never have to worry about running to the bank b4 they close. I love the open door policy, I visit my daugher everyday on my lunch break. Its hard now a days to find people you trust with ur kids,so when you do find that someone, you'd be crazy to walk away. The owner has such a welcoming presence about herself. She makes you feel so relaxed. Ive seen a few of the baby drop off depots and this isnt one of them

Provided by YP.comI had my 4 years old and my 6 years old in the center during the summer. At first, I was a bit skeptic about the center since it was a new establishment and I had no references. I visited the center and spoke to the director and found out more information about it. The fact that they didn’t serve lunches at the center actually worked out better for me. The food served at other centers was not very nutrition and is always the same. I prepared lunches for my children and had lunches with them at the center. I was delighted to see my children during lunches and found out what they were doing. The center was very clean, accommodating, and had a good teacher to children ratio. The staffs were outstanding. They taught my children math, the sound of alphabets and other school topics. They really enjoyed the learn/play environment at the center. Thank you to all the staff at Tender year daycare.
