I am the owner of Blair Jewelers. Let you here the other side of the story. This customer
came in for a prong repair that was done properly. 10 months later she said that she caught the prong on a sweater. Lifting the prong off the stone. It was her fault and I was willing to set the prong tight on the stone. She was only interested in getting a refund 10 months later and did not want me to set the prong. She was on the offensive when she walked in the door. I tried my best to accommodate her needs but she was unreasonable to any solutions to the situation. Her boyfriend was with her and I asked where did the ring original come from he said "Sam's Club". Sam's Club is an American chain of membership-only retail warehouse clubs owned and operated by Walmart Stores, Inc. She found out the truth about her ring being a Walmart ring and was not pleased.. I told her the truth that most rings from Walmart are on high production in China or India and that the stones are "stone in cast" . Meaning that the stone seats are not hand cut and hand set. They are poked in the wax mounting and cast. This is the poorest way to set stones in a ring not leaving much material to hold the stones. She just did not want to hear the truth about her ring.

The store gets your work done quickly and it's flawless. The staff is friendly.

I have brought several pieces in for work, (sizing rings) I have only really received flawless work. I only hope he can create pieces, I have lost a one of a kind ring and am looking to get another one made, Blair Jewelers will be the place I go to. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Worst place to get jewelry repaired,I took my ring there to get a prong replaced. Take my advice don't trust them with anything of value. The prong that was put on didn't even hold the stone in the center.so I tried to go back and get my money back because it wasn't done properly and when I did they started to say that the prong that they had put on was better than the original ones that were on my ring. Then they compared the quality of my ring to that of Wal-Mart when my ring is a one of a kind 14 carrot white gold ring with a center stone that is 2 1/2 -3 carats with diamonds surrounding it . Don't go to Blair's unless you want to be insulted by the owner and his employees. I ended up taking it to Smith Works in downtown Spartanburg and it looks flawless and they only charged me 7 dollars more than Blair's and they were much more professional.
