Our to-go order took twice as long as quoted. Being an open kitchen, I could see my order sitting waiting...and waiting...and waiting. Being in food service myself, this gave me time to observe their fair/mediocre compliance with food safety standards. The bartender was entirely unconcerned with my wait.



Although I peeked at my food before leaving, I figured we could microwave it. Turns out the steamed broccoli (which is microwaved on site, I've watched) was rubbery and the pizza was way overcooked and tough. The Sous Chef / manager was equally unapologetic when we returned the food, and gave a half-hearted offer to remake the pizza. They did void the check.



Wouldn't rate so badly if their response (or lack of) was better and because we've had better food and service there before. Although we're not "regulars" we are local and do eat there often. If you are their regular customer, however, the staff does appear to be more very friendly with them.



The restaurant down the street was sympathetic and took our order with 10 minutes to close. We'll probably end up giving them more of our business as a result.

The food is fabulous. The portions are huge. Possibly the best salad Ive ever eaten. Can't say enough good things!!!!

The food is very good and service is good. Service could improve a little but is adequate. The only concern I have are with the price of the Honey Yeast Rolls. These are soooo good but if you want more than one and order 5 you are charged $5.95. However, one may order them individually @.90cents each and get 5 and the total is only $4.95. I do not understand the managements reasoning for this adding charge when ordering 5 rolls as to ordering 5 singles. Otherwise it is a very nice restuarant and the food is good. ANd the deserts are HUGE and well worth the price. They just need to do something about the roll thingy.
