Don't subject yourself to this "care"

My husband went in to the Pain Care Center for a steroid shot to help with herniated discs. Many individuals, NOT using the Pain Care Center, recommended he do this as they were pain free within days. If we had known of the pain that would follow as well as apathetic staff we wouldn't have bothered. I am not sure if it was the incompetence of the doctor or some side effect no one bothered to tell us about, but my husband was unable to work or even leave his bed for a week and a half after the procedure. My husband has a tremendous pain threshold. He has broken bones, torn ligaments, as well as gone 2 years with 3 herniated discs never complaining. As he writhed in pain, crying on the way out, the nurses asked for a payment and sent us on our way. All our calls to the office met with the same response, "Some people react differently than others, the pain should be gone in a day." After hearing this response for 10 days I would recommend no one subject themselves to this "care".
