Fairmont Junior High School has an annual enrollment of more than 750 students in grades seven through nine. The school imparts educational classes in computer applications, math, life science, speech, technical reading, writing, world studies, algebra, geometry and health education. The school has a library that houses books, audio books, magazines, movies and reference resources, as well as provides access to the Internet and databases. The school has a staff of regular classroom teachers, and a psychologist, counselor, librarian and physical instructor.
