WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO LINDY'S?

My husband & I ate here a little over a month ago & were very disappointed: the service was non-existent & the food was terrible. I had a steak that was gristly & overdone. I don't remember what my husband had but I do remember that his meal wasn't very good, either. We used to enjoy eating here because of it's location to Springhill Suites. The food was good & so was the service. We will not be eating here again. Go to Texas Roadhouse for a great steak.

Terrible with customers!

We took a romantic get away to the Marriott next to Lindy's for Valentines Day. In our room is a big advertisment for Lindy's with the following printed across the bottom of their menu:

Delivery to your room

Mon-Sat 5:00PM to 9:00PM

Now you tell me what you would do when you are told no delivery we are too busy you have to pick it up?

False advertisment comes to mind for me. If you cannot properly staff your resturant to handle deliveries, even to next door, then do not advertise that you will. There were no "exceptions" listed on your menu either. Plus when I mentioned to the young lady who I attempted to give my order to, that there is nothing on the menu stating that if they were busy we had to pick it up, she stated to the person in the background that I was a disgruntled lady...all I did was polietly ask for a delivery and state the obvious from the menu of delivery hours.



Again, if you were in my shoes how would you react. Then to top it all off, both my husband and I are sick with a pretty bad case of colds/flu. The idea was to get away and not worry about cooking, cleaning and doing a lot of running around.



Also the hotel has been full of Special Olympic fans/participants from around the country and the world. Is this how you treat potential customers? Rudely stating that you are so busy that no one can deliver?



Now it is not an issue of wheter your food is any good or not. Now it is the issue of how you treat your customers, your guests.......



Pretty darn bad in my opinion. I do not care what the food tastes like when my poor sick husband brings it back to his poor sick wife, you will never know whether we liked it or not.
