Provided by YP.comMy friend and i love that place,we were driving around on sunday and decided it looked like a decent Indian restaurant. We walked in and apparently they have lunch buffets. My friend never tried Indian food so this was a good opportunity for her to try. She enjoyed the chicken curry, BBQ and the flat bread. While i sampled everything the flavors exploded in my mouth and the spiceyness was perfect for non-spicey eaters, but if you like the spice they have good hot sauces on the side. Then i came back to dinner a week later with my spouse and we enjoyed the menu selection as much as the buffet. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT!!!

Provided by YP.comI went there with my wife on a saturday night. Our waiter was very strange, first of all he did not speak good english. The service was very slow, even when the restaurant only had a few tables. The food took about 45 mintues to make, even our appetizers took about 20 min. I was wondering why the service was so slow even though it wasn't busy at all. But when we finally tasted the food, we thought that it was okay NOT great. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We have tried other indian restaurants in boise, id as well BUT our most favorite indian restaurant is in Eagle. This restaurant is NEW, we found it by reading an add in the boise weekly. The name of the restaurant is INDIA PLACE. Its on state st and eagle road. Just 10 min away from this restaurant. The service at India place was awesome. They tended to my every need. Oh and let me tell you the food was excellent. And the restaurant has a very nice indian culture theme to it. We had an awesome time. So if you are in the mood to eating GREAT indian food i was strongly recommend INDIA PLACE.

Provided by YP.comThis place is located in the strip mall section on State St, near the Reel Theater. We went after seeing the positive write-ups and advertising in Boise Weekly, as well as reviews here on Yelp.
It is a small restaurant and was busy during the lunch hour. The buffet is small but varied enough to fulfill your curry cravings. It was set up in two sections, one was salad/fruit/desert items, and the other was rice/meats/nan etc. I went straight for the meat, wife tried the other section as well.
Decor is simple with Indian-themed wall hangings in an otherwise plain strip-mall white-walled suite. I didn't pay too much attention, instead concentrating on my plate and stuffing my face.
The food was good, not great. I've had much better in Indian buffets in San Jose. But as I said before, it satisfies your curry and tandoori cravings. The weakest part of the whole spread was the nan, which was heavy and doughy. Not what I expected, and that essential item should be mastered by the cooks.
The place was busy so they had some problems keeping the trays filled with fresh selections.
Best of all was the price, a mere $7.00 each for all you can eat, decent Indian food.
Overall not too bad, great price and mostly tasty selections. Considering the choices are slim for good Indian food in Boise, would probably go back again when the cravings arise.
Because of the small size and limited seating, reservations are recommended especially for groups larger than 4.
