Provided by YP.comI have been going to private yoga sessions with Anita for the past year and have averaged one hot stone massage per month. Anita is highly intuitive when it comes to assessing the services that will best benefit her clients. I suffer from migraines and have gone to do yoga several times when my head was bothering me. Anita always adjusts the plan for our session to incorporate practices that will help elevate my headache such as breathing, meditation, stretching, massaging my head and Reiki. Getting hot stone massages has also been a wonderful treat that I wish I could afford to do on a weekly basis. If you are looking for a great massage therapist and private yoga instructor to add to your self-care regimen, I highly recommend Anita at Massage Journey.

Provided by YP.comI have been taking private yoga lessons from Anita for about a year. After some major back surgery, I had to take a break from yoga, so I am having hot stone massages instead. Like many massage thereapists, Anita uses hot stones in her hands after having done an initial part of the session with her bare hands. But then she goes further by putting the stones on spots that her hands have already identified as being in need of special attention. It's like having customized mini-heating pads on your body! They are incredibly relaxing, and they make such a difference in the outcome. Although it might sound strange, my favorite part is when she turns the stones that she is using on my face to their edges and continues the facial masssage. I leave the sessions not only relaxed, but feeling better than I have in days.
