WARNING

food and service adequate. what can you say? - it’s an Olive Garden. i hadn’t been to an OG in a while. the new thing is a little black box on each table. it is an electronic thing that seems to function as a menu browser, credit card processor, etc. BE WARNED!! although there is no big print anywhere on the box or on the menu and no mention by the waitress, there is a games / app function on this box and YOU PAY TO PLAY. this is not the crayons and coloring book you used to get for free to pass the time waiting for your food. fooling around with this box runs up your bill. as soon as i read the small print and realized what was going on, i got out but was already down $2. it was dumb of me not to pay closer attention, and i took my lumps and paid up. the lady at the table next to me later loudly complained about running up $35 by mistake!

welcome to the modern world. although i cannot say OG did anything wrong, their policy of non-disclosure up front smacks of cheap sleaze. as a result, i am out of OG for good.

be careful.

Soooo Yummy!

This is one of my favorite resaurants. I love eating here because the food is always good, and I have only had one bad service experience. I have always had great servers aside from the one time. They are nice and on toop of things, and the food is always delicious! So good!

Service is key

We love The Olive Garden itself but service is not always the same. I had a favorite dish that I have ordered many, many times. In the last year I have had a few rude servers/waiters when I make my request, before this I had no problems. It embarasses me to talk to the manager so I just let it go but really...I shouldn't have to. Without customers you don't have a business. Overall though I give 4 stars, would be 5 if the training of staff was better.

:)

Any olive garden anywhere is awesome. But the Boise Olive Garden on Milwaukee had an extra spring in their step. The service was SPECTACULAR and knowledgable and who can beat the bread they have? haha.

All Olive Gardens are not the same

I eat at The Olive Garden frequently whn I am travelling out of town and I must say this one in Boise is one of the best. The service is always outstanding and the food just seems to taste better there. Perhaps it is the atmosphere or the fact that this place is spotlessly clean.
