Provided by YP.comWe've eaten at Mai Thai and loved it, but we wanted to try Pat's as we had heard good things about it. The food was good, but not as good as Mai Thai. It would have been good enough for us to go back, but for the fact that the dish I ordered for my kids was too spicy and the owners would not take it back, much less come out and talk to us about it. We ordered a noddle and vegetable plate for them and the waiter asked us if they liked it spicy, and I said only a little (they eat the spicy salsa at Mexican restaurants). As soon as they tasted it they complained. So, I tasted it. It was almost as spicy as my medium spicy. I asked the waiter to take back the plate and he said the owners would not, but I asked him to ask them. He did and he said that they were really busy and they would not take the plate back. After explaining that I thought there was a miscommuncation between him and me and that they should take the plate back, he asked again and told us no again. I told him I was disappointed. Because the food was not good, but not great, and we had to go home feed our kids and they went to bed very cranky and late, I would not go back to this place again. Mai Thai is way better and the price is comparable.
