The Dog House is a family owned and operated business that is for dogs and for all the people who love them. For years we had wanted to move back home to Boise. We had talked about starting our own business. We knew it had to be something we believed in and loved. Dogs have always been an important part of our lives, and so the idea of The Dog House was born. We were already baking homemade treats for all the dogs we knew when our daughter suggested Doggy Day Care, and from there our plans took off to include: Dog Training, a Retail Store area and Flint River Ranch Pet Food. Linda has a background in various customer service positions. She worked for 20 years as a nurse and managed a child development center prior to opening The Dog House.
