The services of Burger Kings located at 1290 W. Normantown, Romeoville, IL 60446 & 340 N. Independence Dr., Romeoville, IL 60446 need addressing as well. I started avoiding the Romeoville Restaurants because the food was cold and would make my wife and I sick. We like Burger King, so we switched to the newer one located on 331. S. Bolingbrook Dr. in Bolingbrook.
My complaint entails the Management and employees at this location. The complaints to the regional manager have failed also as there is a number 1-866-425-4745 located on the back of every receipt.The manager Angela would not give me the number to the franchise owner nor district manager!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On Thursday October 16, 2008 @ 2:15PM I entered the empty drive thru lane. A woman came over the intercom, I asked for two whoppers lettuce and tomato only, a number one with cheese, pickles and ketchup only with a large coke, another number one with cheese, lettuce, and tomato only with a large coke, and two large cokes to complete my order. The woman asked me three times what my order was as I repeated it back to her she said a number one with cheese, everything on the burger with a large coke, another number one with cheese, lettuce, and tomato with a coke, and two large cokes... I said no, expressed that I had been in line for 10 minutes- only having a half hour lunch- please don't mess the order up, and repeated the order. The girl said in a rude manner "you've only been here a a minute, ok." They have an order screen that is supposed to let the drive thru customer see what the drive thru operator is entering accurately that never works. Then the girl said, I don't have your order and we are not taking credit cards right now. I said, why not that's all I have and the sign says accepting visa. I said to the girl they should have a sign up so as not to waste people's time. She said, "It broke when you pulled up." I asked to speak to the manager. She said no. I asked for a phone number. She said pull up. I asked for her name. She told me something like Juanita, but her name tag said Liz. I asked for the manager, she told me she was unavailable- that Angela, the manager was trying to fix the credit card machine. I got the phone number and proceeded with the complaint. The people in this establishment are all of hispanic ethnic. The girl who took my order had a very hard time understanding my slow, clear, enlgish.
I would like to file this complaint in the BBB to let other consumers know to boycott Burger King.
I want to know the name and phone number of the Regional Office Manager. I would like the company to hire someone who cares, not another CEO who collects a pay check. I would like an email confirmation and perhaps a phone call. This way if the company does nothing about getting a new person, then I know to no longer eat at Burger King- a place that I have eaten at all my life. The quality of hot, fresh, fast food has gone.
I proceeded across the street to Wendy's and within five minutes I had a better quality product that was hot, fresh, and excellent customer service.
