Provided by YP.comCentrally located in a lazy small town college neighborhood, this clean, efficient, well maintained, affordable apartment complex has excellent management and maintenance staff. You would be hard pressed to find a better manager (Oren) that really cares about the tenants, the complex grounds and the neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly and keep an eye out for one another.
Apple Village Apartments is a collection of several buildings that are 1-2 bedroom “Garden Style/ Patio” walk out (private entrance) apartments. The apartments are small, clean, all electric, neutral color scheme, average closet space, quality wood frame Anderson windows with aluminum storms and the entry doors are heavy metal fire doors with deadbolts including screen doors, well insulted walls, carpeted and vinyl flooring, small patios and privately assigned parking space and ample guest parking. The A/C is a single window mount unit that has been “In wall” mounted so it doesn't cover up a usable window. The heating is individual thermostat room by room baseboard heating. The hot water heater is a small, but adequate. The appliances are basic and include a stove/oven with vent hood and refrigerator/freezer and garbage disposal. Some units have ceiling fans, if they were installed by previous tenants at their own expense and some units have washer/dryer hookups in the hall closet where a stackable apartment size washer/dryer combo unit could be placed by the renter. There is an on site coin operated laundry facility with a single Maytag washer and dryer set. Lawn care, water, sewer and trash service is included in the rent. Some residents care for their own small gardens along their own personal patio areas.
I have personally been living here going on 9 years and I can't say enough good things about my experience. It's a great place for students with the location next to Southwest Baptist University, but is also great for singles, couples or very small families.
