My 7 year old daughter recently started Jazz. Every week she is excited to go, counting down the days until dance. She says "I love Miss Vala, because she's awesome and nice!" She can't wait for the June recital to show off her "moves." :)

My granddaughter started Michelle's Studio of Dance back in summer of 2010. She had no experience in dance what so ever, this is her second summer and she has been through 2 recitals, there is no BAD kids, just kids that want to experience the art of dancing. My granddaughter, thanks to the care and support of her instructor Miss Chrystal, is more confident and loves her dance class so much. She has inproved so much and we are so proud, we thank the studio for all your hard work and your support to the students. Thank you so much :) Denise R Wade

The owner makes it ALL about her, not flexible, not kind, huge classes where all of the naughty kids get all of the attention. More like a daycare than a dance studio. Dont do it!

Pick any other dance school in the area. Owner was the star in the recitals. Childer are made to sit and watch if parents were late paying. Kids struggling had to sit and watch/not dance. This place is a joke. When I called to complain, the owner told me to pull me kid out, weeks before the recital.

The studio owner could not be more unprofessional with parents as well as making children feel alienated if they do not have the exact most expensive, required, "dance gear" I went to this studio as a child had terrible experiences and thought maybe it had changed so enrolled my child. BIG MISTAKE. The prices are absolutely outrageous, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere so true dance professionals can teach your children and save you from being robbed.

This is probably the worst dance studio on the planet. No exaggeration. Not only are the recitals, staff, and prices ridiculous and totally unprofessional, but so is the atmosphere. Parents, staff, and even the studio owner herself, will stand around and gossip about the other students and parents. It's completely horrible. But the people aren't the only reason this studio is horrible but the dance instruction is way below par. The teachers at this studio were students here as well. The owner hired them when they were still in high school! No one at this studio has any credibility or experience outside classes at this school, (if you could call it a school). There is no emphasis put on technique AT ALL. Thus the ballet at this school is way below pathetic, and that's a kind way of putting it. When I was a student here I once asked a teacher for help and she laughed at me and walked away. Completely sad. In addition, this school is all about money! $200 for a costume, shouldn't happen.

Terrible services for prices paid - this place is a money trap - run while you can! 30$ a month for lessons is cool, then you have the recital in which you pay 10$ a ticket, then you the roses another 10$, then you are horn boggled into paying for a 35$ DVD, the out fit is 85$, shoes another 25$, then clothing, not to mention parents are left feeling compelled to purchase all these things so their kids don't feel left out! The perfect business model right?! Then when you go to the recital you can't even take pics or vids of your own kids - unbelievable! Not only is my kid not returning, but I will do what ever I can to inform the whole community of this terrible outfit. A+ BBB my keester! To top it all off, the recital was terrible!

This is the worst dance school is Washington. The teachers here were taught be the studio owner who has NO professional dance experience and does not take the dance classes seriously. In addition to the horrid instruction the classes are WAY too expensive. I spent 5 years at this studio and the only thing I learned is that this is a horrible instutution. When I switched studios I basically had to start from scratch and was way behind the other students my age. If you want good instruction and money well spend NEVER go to this place of business. EVER.
