Located within the heart of Bonney Lake, New Peking offers a modern yet authentic style of Chinese cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. The New Peking story started with Eugene and Ke-Soon Kim, whom gave up a successful restaurant supply business to entrepreneur what is now known to be one of the most successful restaurants in the Bonney Lake / Sumner region. Eugene and Ke-Soon had opened New Peking Restaurant in Pierce County so that they could introduce what was lacking in the region; a good Chinese restaurant. None of which could have been accomplished without the head chef of 9 years, Alex Ma (retired), who was then succeeded by Master Chef John Chau. Our lounge offers various amenities at low cost. My husband and I tried this place and enjoyed the food and service. We thought the prices were a bit steep, but would return anyways!

waitress would rather have been doing something else.

Have been to the New Peking 3 or 4 times over the last 4 years. The first time we went we thought the service and especially the food was really good. Sorry to say that has not been the case the last two times we've been there. I realize cooks come and go, but I would think a good cook would be a top priority for a business that deals in food.

the attitude of the waitress was very poor, never go again ate left overs both of us got sick

Mad Dogs was closed so we thought what the heck let's try it... we sat there for quite some time...I got up and finally a lady came;but acted as if we were troubling her to wait on us. We ordered and the food was ok not great but ok...we never did have the waitress come to us I got my own boxes! She was on her phone and had been for quite some time...Like I said we ate the left overs(we got them in the refer right away) we both got sick...we already had tummy ache so we thought ok we're still hungry. After that we went to the doctor and the receptionist said it was a terrible place! And it was... beware
