Starmount High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers a range of academic programs in English, mathematics, science and social studies. It also provides instruction in foreign languages, fine arts, and career and technology education. Starmount High School has a student council and book and Bible clubs. The school s sports activities include swimming, football, basketball, tennis, cross-country, wrestling, golf, archery, soccer, and track and field. It additionally offers the English as a Second Language program. Starmount High School operates a choir and music band. The school maintains a media center. It is governed by Yadkin County Schools, which administers elementary, middle and high schools.
