I had been a returning customer of Marcus's for many years, and you would think he would treat his loyal customers accordingly. But after his last delivery I will never do business with him again. I ordered 3 cords of wood and he shorted me about 1.5 cords. Just like other reviewers have stated he dumped a ton of dirt and debris consisting of wood chips into my yard. I sent him pictures of it and spoke with him over the phone just to be cursed at. Very unprofessional. Since then he has been ignoring my calls and text messages. Furthermore, on the delivery truck only one layer of wood was stacked vertically in the back to hide the fact that the rest was just dumped in with a bulldozer along with a ton of dirt and debris. Wood deliveries are supposed to be accompanied by a receipt, but don't expect one from Marcus. The Better Business Bureau gives him an "F" rating and others who have been ripped off by him as well have voiced their complaints here:
