Visiting from out of town with my daughters at an event in Bossier, called them after another outfit didn't respond...their attitude and service( or lack there of) wouldn't merit a penny literally much less a single star. I would rather catch the bus...

I called Action Taxi after experiencing car trouble at a regular morning hour on the way to the base and had to pull over to the side of the road. After experiencing terrible customer service over the phone, I gave them the address I was near and was told they would try to send someone out. After waiting thirty minutes, I called again, and they said they were sending someone out. I waited another hour and called again, and they said they had not yet sent someone out. I was a five minute driver from the taxi company. Five minutes and 3.2 miles. If it was not raining, I could have walked over there and gotten a taxi myself. In the two hours I spent on the side of the highway, I could have signed up for AAA and gotten someone to come out. If I had the capability, I probably could have fixed the car or built a new one. I ended up having to wake up a friend and have him drive over to pick me up. The professionalism, capability, and customer service of Action Taxi is beyond deplorable. It is an abomination. I have had better taxi experiences on the other side of the planet from people who didn't speak English and whose cars were held together with banana leaves and paperclips. At least they sent out a vehicle. I wouldn't recommend Action Taxi to my worst enemy. I would only recommend Action Taxi to someone who worked at Action Taxi, but they would probably know better than to call. At least have the human decency to say you are too busy or that you're not going to send someone else out just because you don't feel like it. In summation, I would rather walk a half-marathon in Death Valley in Crocs with a Ben Stein audiotape only to wait in line at the DMV with the same rerun of Full House playing than call Action Taxi. If you're thinking about using Action Taxi, I would advise to call a different company instead, bother a friend, or begin walking. You will get there before an Action Taxi will. If you do call, enjoy playing Solitaire or checking Facebook on your phone the rest of the day.



TLDR: Action Taxi is an affront to all we hold sacred in this country and as members of the human race. They should be called Inaction Taxi, because they didn't send someone. The only Action they performed was acting poorly like a taxi company. Call someone else. Walking is preferable.

I called for a taxi at Walgreens on Line Avenue & East Kings, but wound up walking to my destination 2.4 miles away in nearly 100 degree temperatures. Not did one Action Taxi pass by the location and keep driving, but THREE! My senior citizen husband & I waited for nearly an hour before giving up on them and walking. We called THREE TIMES! First time, they acted as if they did not even know where the location was; FIRST, HOW THE HECK DO YOU MISS A BUSINESS CALLED WALGREENS ON THE CORNER OF LINE AVENUE AND EAST KINGS HIGHWAY? SECONDLY, HOW CAN YOU GO TO WORK FOR A TAXI COMPANY AND NOT KNOW THE STREETS OF THE CITY YOU ARE TAXIING PEOPLE IN? Second time, was told that they are busy and would be there shortly. Third time, no one bothered to answer the phone.

I wouldn't have called for a taxi if I didn't see a need to transport my elderly husband home in this bloody heat...but no, he had to walk & risk heat-stroke because Action Taxi was too damn lazy to get a cab to the location. Oh wait...they did send 3 that never STOPPED!!!

This will be the last time I use Action Taxi for anything and I will NEVER REFER ANYONE, FRIEND OR STRANGER , TO USE THEIR SERVICES!

Poor service slow getting there

I have not only had a personal experience with this, but have had THREE other women tell me the of same type of experience with this company. I hope rating this will keep someone safe. I left a local bar intoxicated, so decided to call a taxi instead of driving. The driver (whom I didn't get information from) was an african-american male between 25-45 and about 5'9" or taller and offered me drugs on the way to my home. I declined, being in the military. When we arrived to my home, AFTER I paid, he got out of the car and attempted to follow me into my house. I was so

relived that my husband was home, what could have happened really scared me and I'll never call a cab ANYWHERE again. I hope noone gets hurt or even scared again, and I do feel bad that I wasn't able to get more or accurate information.
