Provided by YPmobileI am from Houston, Texas. My mother and father in-law live near Bossier City, LA and are in need of services similar to what Home Care of Hope offers. It took a lot of convincing to initiate outside services as my father-in-law is her primary caretaker and very independent. I contacted Home Care of Hope and spoke to Hope a week prior to making arrangements to drive to Shreveport. When we spoke we scheduled Hope to come to my in-laws house on a Saturday at 2pm to discuss our families needs. I drove into town the day before (Friday) and needed to leave by Sunday to return back to work. Hope texted me at 1:55pm that Saturday stating that she was in a "car accident" and was in the hospital. She stated she would come closer to 4pm. Obviously, it's unfortunate that she was involved in "an accident", but I understood the circumstances and agreed to 4pm. At 4:05pm, there was no sign of Hope nor did she respond to my text asking her ETA. At 4:45, I texted her and told her not to bother. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Complete waste of mine and my families time and a complete embarrassment in front of my family.

Provided by YPmobileI am a former employer and the owners (Hope and Kyle Holland) are more worried than the quality of the lives of their clients. They are never available, when my client passed away it was 8:30 am and they wouldn't answer the business phone as well their personal phones. They also illegally pay the care givers as independent contractors which means all caregivers should have insurance and they never informed is of that. When there was an emergency or really just if we needed to call them they never answered! And one more thing- they claim to drug test and do background checks, they didn't do either to me... I wouldn't let this company take care of a dog! Beware and keep your loved ones safe:(

- We have several highly trained and motivated caregivers all different backgrounds. Our one of our caregivers have been trained, screened for criminal background history, submitted authorization to receive random drug screens, verified previous care work experience references, and each is insured with our agency's liability, bond and workers Comp policy. Each caregiver is monitored and under the direct supervision of our on call nurse. Each caregiver is also to follow the care plan set created by the nurse during her routine consultations with client.
