We had a horrible experience with a well-know Bossier City generator company--we put down a $6,750 deposit, and never heard from them again unless we called--which we did many times. Never got the generator. This went on for 3 and 1/2 months. We are currently in litigation, and have contacted the Police, Sheriffs, and many other authorities.



BUT, there is GREAT news...The contractor who did the NG plumbing to the generator pad--Gerard Rinchuso, who is also a very good contractor--he did our last home and this one and we respect his opinion...he suggested Rock Hensley, of R & R Power Services. When another contractor speaks well of someone, we think that says alot. So, we contacted Rock. He came out and did an estimate. He was very cordial and professional. From the time we decided and put our deposit down, which was only $1,500 compared to the other contractor, and signed a contract which specified an end date, it only took about 16 business days for him to order, deliver, install, and check out the generator. AND...The cost was about $2,700 LESS than the the "bad company" quoted. The electrician he used--Brent Stuart, of Stuart Electric Company also did a fine job. Rock will only bring in the best plumbers and electricians to complete the work.

We also just had a problem this week where the battery and a circuit board went dead. I e-mailed Rock early in the morning, and he called my husband after getting to work--the same day, had his maintenance man--Robert, come right out, and Rock ordered the parts needed. The parts were fed-exed and arrived the next day. Robert came out that day, and installed the parts at no charge. Robert explained everything to my husband and it was fixed in 2 days!!! How do they say it??--bada bing, bada bang, bada boom:-) Yeeeaaaaah!

Yesterday 2750 homes went without power including ours--found out from SWEPCO.... Our generator came on like a charm, powered the whole house, and it was wonderful---double Yeeeeeaaaah!!!! :-)) Rock also includes a 6 month check of the generator as part of the cost. After that, he has a maintenance program one can pay for if you need or want a care-free, well-maintained generator (ex., single women, older folks, busy people...)

I could go on and on about how bad the "bad company" was, and I could go on and on about how GREAT Rock and his company and people are. His maintenance manager-Robert Crews--is not only very skilled, he is entertaining too! These days so many people are putting in home generators. I will tell anyone I know to definately go to Rock Hensley of R&R Power Services. After all the problems with the other company--what a different and wonderful experience working with Rock was. He is restoring our faith in American businesses.
