Alliance Fran aise de Boston et Cambridge, founded in 1898, is a nonprofit organization promoting French culture and language. The center offers language classes, lectures, exhibitions and concerts and a collection of more than 25,000 French books. It provides classes in French for all levels, cooking lessons, wine tasting sessions, panel discussions and has a cine club for screening French films with English subtitles. It also offers translation and corporate language services and is part of a network of more than 1,500 Alliances Fran aise centers located in over 138 countries worldwide. The center is located in Boston.
