The Haemonetics MCS+ system addresses the traditional drawbacks of platelet therapy because it automates the platelet collection process, permitting the collection of greater quantities of platelets from a single donor. The company s PCS2 system is for the collection of plasma. It has two main systems for the needs of surgical blood salvage, the Cell Saver system and the OrthoPAT system.
