Provided by YP.comUPDATE: STAY CLEAR OF PSG-UNETHICAL AND UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS PRACTICES
This company posts jobs that do not exist. They make up job descriptions and claim they 'have an opening with a client' for such a position. I was told straight out by my PSG representative that the position I was inquiring about was not a "REAL" position. I told him this was both unethical and unprofessional. It's wasting the time of candidates who are making very serious attempts to find work. I have submitted resumes to agencies who openly state they are posting a 'general calling for candidates' for certain job titles and skills. I'd rather see this than be misled by PSG's lying. Your rep also wants you to tell them if you get any telephone or in-person interviews not from them! That's NONE of their business. Their mission should be to earn money by promoting and placing candidates. What I'm doing in my job search outside of their efforts has nothing to do with them. I don't care how many people they have on their 4 teams that they take you upstairs to show you, and possibly impress you, they are not to be trusted under any circumstance. I've written them off. I agree, there should be a negative rating.
I was contacted by a 'lead' person at PSG, a company I had never heard of, stating they had received my resume. I inquired what the salary range and title of the Executive I would be working for was on the position I had applied for, since there are so many ‘blind’ ads being posted. She said there was no title or salary listed. This made me very suspicious, since I have not applied for any jobs that don't state the title of the Executive and the salary being offered. I believe they had searched Monster and pulled my resume from the website. She set up an 'interview' for me with another associate and for the past two days I've felt odd about this. Today I found the over 125 extremely bad reviews for this company online. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you who have taken the time to share your experiences. I called and cancelled my appointment, telling the lead person that I did not want to be associated with a company with this reputation. Her second sentence to me was nothing but a lie.
