Very rude. How does this place stay in business treating customers like this? The store in Somerville, MA has arrogant customer service, and the older gray haired woman so called "manager" is extremely rude. Don't every bother to waste your penny for service like. I left and decided to do business elsewhere. I wouldn't give this place a negative star if I had the choice. It was extremly bad.

The store in Somerville, MA. has deplorable customer service, and the older gray haired woman who works there is extremely rude. I witnessed this horrid excuse of a human being insult an African American customer, telling her that a red colored fabric was "not a good color for her." I couldn't find an item that I was looking for and the same woman treated me like I was stupid, and was extremely condescending, when I asked for assistance in finding it. I was so disgusted that I ended up leaving, and decided that I would rather do business elsewhere. How does this place stay in business treating customers like this? I will not go there again, and will be sure to tell my friends and family to avoid them as well. I wouldn't give Sewfisticated one star if I had the choice. It was that unpleasant.

Rude!!!!!

Very rude!! I got there 30 mins b4 closings and the sign on the door even said close at 8pm. The doors we're locked and the lady looked right at me and walked away. I then knocked on the door and one of the girls behind the counter shook her head and barely looked at me and shut the lights off... I would never go back there again!!!!

Sew-Fisticated is one of the best fabric stores in Boston. I love that it is located in Dorchester. The fabric selection and especially the prices are excellent compared to other fabric stores, such as Jo-Ann's and Fabric Place. The owner is great and will try to get you what you need if you request it. I wholeheartedly recommend my hometown store! Support the community, get quality fabric and save a ton of money!

Best of discounted fabric south of Boston!

They offer a limited variety of fabric, but their prices make up for their fabric array. You will not find cheaper prices anywhere else.
