Veronica Demtchouk, MD is an assistant professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine in the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Department of Urology.Dr. Demtchouk earned her undergraduate degrees from Princeton University, majoring in Molecular Biology with minors in Spanish Language & Culture and Global Health & Health Policy. She received her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, and an accredited three-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at Mount Auburn Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center affiliated with Harvard Medical School. During her time at Tufts Medical Center, Dr. Demtchouk served as the Administrative Chief Resident for the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and also as Chief Resident on the Quality Assurance Committee for the Division of Gynecology. Dr. Demtchouk's research and clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of pelvic floor disorders, such as pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and urogenital fistulas. She is skilled in vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted surgical approaches.Dr. Demtchouk is a member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, the American Urogynecologic Society, and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.
