North Star High School offers academic classes in family and consumer science, fine arts, business, industrial technology, math, music, social studies, special education and science. It offers education to students in grades 9 through 12. The school also conducts foreign language classes in Spanish and French. It has a library media center that encourages creativity and individual use of all types of print and technology resources by students and staff. The school offers a variety of athletic activities, such as baseball, basketball, soccer, cheerleading, cross country, swimming and softball. North Star High School is a part of the North Star School District and is located in Boswell, Pa.
