My family went to Dr. Chapman for 3 years. My husband complained about pain and sensitivity in one of his molars at each visit and she told him each time that it was a nerve that must be exposed and the teeth were fine. We recently switched to a new dentist who told my husband that the tooth he had been complaining about was severly cracked and needed to be removed. Our new dentist took extensive x-rays and showed them to my husband explaining why the tooth needs to be removed...the crack went all the way through the tooth. The damage was not something that happened overnight. It took a long time for it to get to the deteriorated state of requiring removal. If she would have done a better job listening to him and truly investigating his complaints he could have saved the tooth and just needed a crown. Now he will have to have the tooth extracted, get a root canal, and have a bridge put in to replace the extracted tooth...oh, and he also has a blood disorder requiring him to be on blood thinners that he will have to quit taking for a few days prior to the extraction so he doesn't bleed out. She also made a night guard and lower retainer for me and I told her I had done Invisalign a few years ago and need to have something that wouldn't allow my teeth to move and she assured me the night guard she was having made for me wouldn't allow any tooth movement, but now approx a year later my teeth have moved a little and when I brought this up to her she argued with me saying they are exactly the same as the day she took my impressions. We will never go back to her and highly recommend against choosing her as your dentist.

kim chapman only does filling,...

kim chapman only does filling, crowns and cleanings. she will refer you out for partials, dentues, extraction, root canels. I guess she never learned do do any thing else. she is very rude to her assistants and puts them down while working on you. The office manager is not very nice and will smile but will bill yu even if you didn't agree to the work before hand. not a nice office to go to

Billing at it's worse.

The dental work is adequate quality, however they apply services during your cleaning that may or may not be covered by your insurance, but don't advise you of this before providing the service. Then when you get the bill for benefits not covered, they advise you that it is your responsibility to know what your benefits are. In addition to this, if you dispute the service because of inefficient advisement, the office manager states it's not her problem pay the bill or we will send you to collections - no matter how long ago the office visit was.



Know your benefits before going to this dental office.
