Provided by YP.comWent on a Sunday, my puppy was fecal tested and was told if results were positive I would need an anti-parasitic for girardia. The results were accidentally "recycled" without anyone looking at them so I did not get a call back, nor the medication I needed. I called twice to get results and ask for the medication but the treating doctor did not put it in the chart and left for vacation. After my dog's condition worsened I called 5 times with no call back, so I had to take her elsewhere where she received the medication and recovered just fine. I got lots of apologies but as soon as I asked for money back they quit returning my calls. Happy I took her elsewhere and got proper treatment. This place was a complete waste of my time and money.

I have now taken two different cats to Alpenglow -- one survived acute kidney failure, and one did not survive his mystery issues (he was a transfer from my regular vet, and no one could find out what was wrong with him). The daytime veterinary specialists in internal medicine were compassionate and straightforward regarding treatment options and costs, although both animals were there overnight and I'm less impressed with the urgent care options. My rating is based on the repeated billing problems I've had. 2 cats, two times I've walked out without having all my charges on my bill -- including the less than wonderful experience of getting a phone call regarding an outstanding balance a month after my cat's death -- keep in mind that I was charged a deposit for his care, and then refunded after euthanasia. In the future, I will not be going back to Alpenglow unless I have no better treatment option, and my pet would have to be pretty sick -- I will forever now do business with Alpenglow expecting a "gimme money" phone call after I take my dead cat home in a box.

DON"T EVER GO HERE!! They may be scompetent, they may give decent service, but if you have no money your pet is dead. I call in after 10pm, because my cat is only able to mouth-breathe. Receptionist says to get her in immediately. I say that I have just dropped $400 on vet payments the past week for a leg injury, and that i need to drop over another $1000 on surgery to fix her knee. It was while AT the vet getting x-rays that she catches the damned respiratory infection in the first place. So now, 4 days before F-ing Christmas when everyone is already broke from buying presents, these ANGELS tell me to take a hike. No MONEY no HELP. ASSHO**S!!!!!! The only thing these bastards will do is offer you a damned credit card--pretty hard to get approved when you are already maxed out because of a previous $400 in vet fees and any and all disposable income spent on gifts for an entire family! They are too bloody special to just BILL SOMEONE WITH A DYING PET. SCUM SCUM SCUM money grubbing SCUM

The facility, staff, and care are excellent. Dr. Rooney and his staff worked with our family vet in the treatment of our pup. I was immediately impressed by Dr. Rooney's obvious passion for what he does and that was reflected in every staff member. All of the doctors and nurses took all the time we needed to answer questions. The care our pup recieved was outstanding. We are lucky to have such a top-notch facility and compassionate and skilled doctors and nurses in Boulder.
