Mission Statement Boulder Montessori School's mission is establish and maintain a school for children in which the Montessori approach is used, and further to provide parent training, public education and teacher development in support of the growth of the child. Our vision for the school~ Boulder Montessori School is an early childhood program committed to the concepts and values of Montessori education. BMS offers a well-rounded curriculum that nurtures and sustains the developmental needs of the whole child. This includes aspects of human culture such as enjoyment of the natural world, science, art, music and opportunities to experience independence and exploration. As a community of children, involved parents and committed professional staff, we pledge to be a diverse community that strives to live in peace with each other and the earth. We are dedicated to the principles of consensus, mutual understanding, courtesy, respect, trust and support of one another.
