I have never been to a better lock and key place! Everyone there REALLY CARES about the customer. I went to Buffalo Lock & Key because I needed some extra keys made for new office furniture we got for our office. I went to McGuckin's, which I love, but these keys were very different from normal keys and they could not make them. I tried Home Depot and Lowes they could not help me. I began to get really worried as to why these keys were such a problem. A guy that does work in our building suggested Buffalo Lock & Key. They did need to order a particular mold for my copies but had it the next day. When I came back the guy didn't charge me because I made a special trip back!! I have used them 3 times since and could even tell you another great story I saw while I was waiting for my order but would be too long since I've said so much already. I just moved to Boulder from Memphis, TN in Sept. and this is the only Lock & Key place I plan to use.

I have never had a less than superior experience with Buffalo Lock and Key. They are fast, friendly and accurate in their work. I have had them come out to my house to work on a problem with my garage and the technician was friendly and very knowledgeable. My last experience with them, I had gone to Home Depot to make a copy of my house key (the only reason I went to HD instead of Buffalo was because Buffalo was closed for the new year on the particular day I needed a key) and the key Home Depot made for me was awful and barely usable. I took it to Buffalo and they knew exactly what to do and now I have a great key that works like a charm. These people are great!!

Recently lost my purse and needed to get in my home and have locks changed for security. When I explained my situation they promptly sent a technician within 30 minutes time. (Thats unheard of anymore) The technician quickly changed all my locks and helped me review other safety measures. Definitely took the stress out of a high stress situation. Thanks so much to eveyrone at Buffalo Lock.

I went in to Buffalo lock and key to get some duplicate keys made and for a laptop lock. The two people working at the time were helpful and I felt like they knew their stuff. I also saw the beer can mentioned in one of the other reviews... but I asked about it and found out it was a hide-a-key.

I called them once to let me into a house-it took 30 minutes to get there and the guy fumbled and fumbled for another hour. he finally called a different guy who got us in in 2 minutes, once he got there. Same outrageous charge! Haven't used them since.

We have been using Buffalo Lock and Key for over 30 years now- always professional, always great! There is a reason McGuckin's sends people there for key/lock and security work.Keep it up!

I brought in a key to be copied, when I got home and checked the new keys it was very clear that the new keys were too fat to fit in the lock. I called and was told that numbers had changed and that I would have to bring them back. Looking at the keys it was very clear that they were different keys and would not work, when I brought this to their attention as they are the experts they told me they were glad I had called and they hung up on me!For our next key or lock situation we will go somewhere they pay attention to their work, even if it is just two keys.

These guys are great! My Focus' ignition switch wouldn't work. David came out that day and rebuilt it, which saved me money and time. If he had replaced it, he would have had to either re-key the new one or re-program the computer to accept a new key. I definitely will refer them to anyone in need of a locksmith.

These guys are always friendly and helpful. Talk about "Johnny on the spot", they came right out the same day to change the front door lock to my business when I needed it!
