Honestly Disappointed

After reading all the reviews and doing my research online, I thought it was the best choice to go with Lee Hill when we expanded our garden and needed new gardening soil. I chose the planter's mix, which was supposed to be 1/2 top soil and 1/2 compost. What we got looked more like 1/2 fill dirt 1/2 mulch. Seriously. I was gray dirt, with clods of clay and very little texture. I know you're not going to get rich, dark loam when you order garden soil from a landscape supply company, but I was hoping for more than this. I had to supplement in the extreme with mushroom compost, mulch, peat and top soil to get anything to grow in this stuff. And for that price I could have simply gotten more premium dirt from a better supplier.
