Personalized Management Service is a misnomer. Scott Henderson is rather distant and cold and its fair to say he is strictly business. I suspect part of the problem is he needs more staff to attend to things.



Upon arriving in Boulder with the moving truck, we were dismayed to find the apartment had not been cleaned. The paint was shoddy with scuffs in various places, mismatched finishes, and a lavender colored bathroom.



We cleaned it ourselves and Scott agreed to reimburse us for the labor. That was nice.



As for the paint, that was a longer ordeal that didn't get resolved until after we moved out. I requested to paint the apartment ourselves. I figured we would pick some tasteful colors and maybe they'd keep them or we'd paint it back. Over the phone, Scott agreed with the idea of painting it and asked to see receipts for materials.



Anyway, we painted the place with quality paint and did a pro job. However, Scott didn't like all the colors and asked why we painted without permission. He denied ever having the conversation. I know well enough not to paint a rental without permission. I was flabbergasted.



Worst case scenario, I figured, was we would have to paint it white. (We did a bluish grey on one wall and light blue on another in the living room. We painted the bathroom blue, and the kitchen redish). So we waited two years with no reimbursement and repainted everything Scott asked us to, hoping that would be enough to get the reimbursement. Wrong. They charged us $300 for needing to repaint the place. What?



They owed us the paint job in the beginning - it was awful remember. We eventually painted it for them, white to their specifications, and we pay them as if we damaged the place?! We saved them having to repaint the apartment. There was no justice in it. I'll have to go back and check if they really repainted the place - I highly doubt it.
