Although we didn't want to, we had to have 24/7 watch for my mom. Legacy House was amazing, patient, caring, tender, and so good to my mom and our family. My mom wasn't pleased to be going, but we were able to make her room look just like her main living area at home. All the conveniences and more were at her disposal. At home she didn't have the entertainment, classes, close neighbors, security, and full time assistance that she needed. But at Legacy home, she had it all. And I was able to bring my dogs for her to hold, which is such good therapy. Some folks even had their dogs living there with them. And had my mom's dementia gotten severe enough, they would have been able to mover her to the "loft", I believe they call it, where Alzheimers and Dementia patience live and receive specialized care. I could go on and on, but just know that this place is a lovely option, when you have to do what we had to do!
