They were the most pleasant and accomodating group of people I have encountered. Brought me out in to the shop and showed me what I needed and why. Called two other local competitors and Car Care was 20 to 30 percent less.Great Job!!

I have had several people in the Bourbonnais/Kankakee area refer me to Car Care and I have been in there 4 times. I have no complaints about the work. But I have to say - the gal at the front desk there is THE most unpleasant person I have ever dealt with in a business establishment. It's really sad. She is the first impression of that place, and if it weren't for the referrals I would not have gone back after the first time. And she has been "unpleasant" EVERY time I have been in there.Just sayin... wonder how much that has hurt their business...

They changed harmonic balancer on topaz. Less than one year later I went to another shop for same thing and they told me a bolt was missing causing the other bolts to loosen! LAZY!!! Later that year they clipped me for a $900 brake job. Replacing everything there was, on a 1995 Dodge. My fault I signed the waiver giving them permission to do what they thought necessary. They went under as a Car-X affiliate and reopened as CarCare wonder who they'll be in the furture, and who they'll be ripping off? Now I know why they never look you in the eyes!

I do not know much about mechanical issues with cars, but learned something vital after this visit. I took my car here in September '09 for brake work, I got new pads and rotors. Well in February of this year, it was made aware to me by a friend that the pin holding my brake pad was sticking out. This pin was close to being caught on the spokes of my rim. This could of caused one of a few different scenarios. The pin could of gotten sheared off and the brakes on that side would not work properly. Or it could of ripped off the brake pad entirely and damaged my calipur. Another possibility is the pin getting caught on my spokes and locking up my wheel. Depends on how fast I was going when it occurred. Upon further investigation, the pins on both sides were lacking the proper "latch spring assembly" that holds them on. Instead, the guy who did my brakes used JB Weld Epoxy to hold them in place. Well clearly this Epoxy was failing. Not only that, it is not the proper way to
