home cooking!!! Lunches are delish and the sandwiches rocks.

To start of with, the decor is a bunch of junk straight out of Sanford and Sun. Outside they have old sinks, bathtubs, and some iron pieces. Inside there decor and gift items are quite expensive for nothing special. Maybe they should focus more on their food and service. I have never tasted such bland food here in the New Orleans area. It took them forever to bring us our meals and when it got to the table it looked like something that would be served in a prison. The shrimp stew was just a bunch of white rice with a cream colored roux and potato pieces and frozen shrimp placed on top. The sticky chicken was not any better, in fact it was in a very similar sauce. There menu is very limited and you can not get a meal there for under $10. I overheard someone else that sent her shrimp stew back and the waitress told her she would still be charged for it because there was nothing wrong with it except the fact that the woman found it bland and tasteless. I will not return to an establishment that treats their customers like that. I think they need to decide whether or not they want to be a junkyard or a restaurant because at this time they are unsuccessful with both.
