New owners

I came here in January of 2014 and swore I would NEVER return. Today I saw a sign "under new management"--the new owner aquired it in February. The food before was easily the worst barbecue I had ever had to witness. None of the meat was prepared on site and the customers paid for it. The new owners have impressed me thoroughly! The food is a higher grade and quality and everything is made ON SITE. The prices beat out competition in Carrollton, as does the quality, making it worth the extra drive from campus.

THIS IS THE BEST BAR-B-QUE EVER!!!! I DON'T NORMALLY EAT STEW BUT THEY LET ME TRY IT AND OH MY GOSH IT'S THE BOMB!!!!!

One of the worst BBQ meals I have ever had. They were asked by my son if the Baked Beans had onion in them, he told them it was because his Mom is allergic to them. We were told there were no onions in them. When my husband brought the plate to me I took one bite of the Baked Beans and they had onion in them. They are lucky that I am not the type of person that likes to go around suing people. The Brunswick Stew was burnt. The bottom of the bun on the BBQ Sandwich was so saturated that we couldn't even pick them up. The sauce & meat has no flavor. Everything was bland. The Macaroni & Cheese tasted watered down. It was our first meal here and it will be our last. I can't eat anywhere that has no respect for someone telling them that they are allergic to certain ingredients. And I like my BBQ to have flavor. I was really hoping this would be a good place to eat because it's the closest BBQ restaurant to home.
